Towards a comprehensive phylogeny of Tropical African Drosera: A target enrichment approach
Alexander Dietrick (USA) is a masters student in Ecology, Evolution, & Systematics at the University of Munich (LMU) where he’s working on the taxonomy & systematics of African Drosera under the supervision of PD Dr. Andreas Fleischmann,. Since 2019, he’s travelled extensively throughout Africa and has documented over one hundred undescribed species of Drosera on the continent. After the completion of his masters this year, he plans to start a PhD to work on a monograph for the genus in Africa.
