Miroslav Srba is a biologist specializing in plant genetics and cell biology. He has been growing carnivorous plants since 1988 and is a passionate breeder, having created hundreds of horticultural hybrids, particularly in the genera Sarracenia, Pinguicula, and Nepenthes. Twelve of his hybrids have been officially registered as cultivars. He currently works as Scientific Manager at Liberec Botanic Garden, Czech Republic.
